Diversitech was founded in 1989 by two computer professionals proficient in manufacture and maintenance of computer hardware and software development. Initially Diversitech concentrated on the manufacture of PLC's , development of LIMS software and development of interfaces both hardware and software between computers and laboratory/process control equipment. Later the company largely dropped the hardware manufacture (although we still develop interfaces when required) and concentrated on software development. Company started as a part time venture. Produced various devices to shutdown computers on power failure, point of sale drawer controls etc. Developed postfix interfaces for reporting from major databases etc
Manufactured PLC controllers for fruit rapid cooling tunnels at harbour. Developed LIMS system for local laboratory. Developed laboratory instrument interfaces for a variety of different instruments. Consulted to various large local companies to develop software. Provided a full one stop shop for IT , from computers to networking, servers and computer environment equipment.
Concentrated on consulting and developing software inter alia middleware, hire purchase software.
